about lisa
Lisa Jackson, President of joie de vie, has spent much of her career defining the style of others. As a child she immersed herself in fashion and dreamed of a career in design. As a young adult she led a group of friends in a venture called Sisters in Business, which produced fashion shows to raise money for charity. She then transitioned from the fashion realm and entered the world of promotions and marketing.
After spending several years in broadcast radio, where she developed promotions and events for clients in the luxury market, Lisa made the move to publishing and built the brand identity for one of the country’s leading regional luxury lifestyle publications. In 2005 Lisa took on the role of Vice President of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships for the Western Division of Modern Luxury Magazines, where she continued to hone her skills in luxury lifestyle marketing.
During Lisa’s tenure in publishing she created memorable events for:
- Champagne Krug
- Chopard
- DeBeers | Geffen Playhouse
- Ivana Trump | Coldwell Banker Previews
- Tony Bennett | Salvation Army
- Mimi So
- Sauza Tres Generationes
- San Diego County Medical Society
- La Jolla Spa MD
She also was the visionary behind San Diego Restaurant Week – the first major event of its kind in San Diego, which went on to win the 2005 Edward L. Bernays Mark of Excellence Award for special events.
When it came time for the next challenge, Lisa thought long and hard about what her purpose was. Having been an executive and experiencing first-hand how time-starved executives and entrepreneurs are led Lisa to the birth of joie de vie.
“Our company’s goal is to provide clients with the best that life has to offer, without their having to sacrifice time or energy or the dedication needed to sustain a successful career or business. Joie de vie allows them to fulfill their purpose…and mine.”
